HOUSE IN LISBOA lisboa . portugal
commission . in progress

The starting point for this house, located in Lisbon, is an existing single family house, and a private garden. Both are currently unoccupied and consequently abandoned. This house represents almost a paradox, to live in a big city, like Lisbon, but in a single family house with a private garden.

Our proposal is quite simple, taking advantage of the nice garden, we located all the social areas adjacent to it with a huge glass window. All the most private spaces are located on the other side of the house, with small windows to the street.

The social space uses all the interior high revealing the sloped roof, which increases the spacial relation from this space with the private garden. This space can also be wide open to the exterior space when the windows are fully open.
